Harris East is a 4-storey residential condo building in the heart of Downtown Halifax. The project is surrounded by single-family housing so we kept the building height low to not be an imposing presence in the neighbourhood. We mixed tradition material vernacular with a modern approach to the façade design and tried to provide every suite with lots of natural light. The wood-frame structure allowed us to be sustainable, cost friendly and time sensitive when it comes to construction.
